On Wednesday 26 June 2024, Promovenda Dyah Rahayu and Promovendus Ahmad Said completed their proposal exam were successfully, with these results they then immediately carried out their dissertation research. Promovenda Dyah Rahayu researched on themes related to BPKH and Promovendus Ahmad Said researched on the theme of business strategy. Hopefully, the results of this proposal hearing can be a trigger and motivation to carry out research well and produce research that can be useful for the homeland, nation and religion, especially for Islamic economics and finance. The research that will be carried out by the two doctoral candidates from the Trisakti University Islamic Economics and Finance (IEF) doctoral program will be a very significant contribution to academics, Islamic economics and finance science, regulators and at the same time for practitioners. Trisakti University’s doctoral degree in Islamic economics and finance (IEF) has 188 doctoral graduates and this doctoral program is a pioneer in human resource development, since it was first established by Almarhum, Prof. Dr. Sofyan S. Harahap.
