On Monday, April 28, 2025, the Doctoral Program in Economics (Islamic Economics and Finance (IEF)) of Trisakti University has graduated another Islamic Economics mujahid, Dr. Diba Anggraini Aris. Graduated with a satisfactory predicate. The dissertation that was raised with the research title Development of Linked Sukuk Waqf to Strengthen the Role of Islamic Cooperatives in Indonesia, was very interesting and Dr. Diba was able to defend it. This theme is very interesting because the development of linked sukuk waqf is growing rapidly, as well as Islamic cooperatives or commonly known as BMT. These two entities are indeed progressing and developing, because as we know that conventional banks and conventional cooperatives are thick with interest or Riba. This is what distinguishes conventional banks/conventional cooperatives from Islamic banks/Islamic cooperatives (BMT).
